I dont know if this counts as asking for downloads, but I wanted to know if anybody knew of any really good sites to buy english manga. I've heard they offer discounts, and considering what i spend on them at the bookstore i could really use the discount.

thanks for whatever help is flung my way

Don't worry... how can asking for a site to buy from be considered asking for downloads?
Sadly i can't help you as I have no experience buying manga online. Sorry.

P.S. And guys... try to make more than one word posts ok?

I think that amazon.com is pretty good as a last resort.

I've had good luck with www.rightstuf.com.

They have good sales pretty often - right now it's "30% off almost everything" plus free shipping (in the US) if you spend over $49.

I'm looking for store too but for raw manga and that ship to US.

I don't mind if it's used, if not in very bad condition. Trying to cut expense and I think I can renew them with scanning.
I know Kinokuniya (the choice is too narrow) and booksoff (they have no store near me)

Any other suggestions?

You might try these:

www.sasugabooks.com
www.jpqueen.com
www.akadotretail.com
www.yesasia.com

I've ordered from sasuga and akadot, but it's been a while.

You might also check eBay.

There's a seller in Japan, "mkbooks2003" that I've bought manga from several times & been very happy with. The selection varies, of course, but it might be worthwhile to check their inventory every week or so for a while & see if what you want shows up.

I'm sure there are other good sellers too, but mkbooks2003 is the only one I've bought from (that I can remember...).

You probably know this, but for eBay ALWAYS check the shipping charges - esp. if the price of the item seems too good to be true. I've seen manga selling for $0.25, with shipping of $15.00. 🤢

deepdiscount.com has dvds but the manga they do have is generally pretty cheap with free shipping.

Book Depository ships their books (and manga) free worldwide, but their selection isn't often too good if you're looking for older titles.
