Hi, I'm Toni from Some-Stuffs.com. We're currently looking for people to join our group, specifically translators. We want to translate the missing chapters from the manga "Black Jack" since they haven't seen the light of day in English. We're also currently scanlating One Piece where we could use typesetters and cleaners. If interested in ANY scanlating positions, please respond by e-mailing me at Tonitonichopchop@live.co.uk or post here or on my site. Thank you!

]eh? very poor translation and quality?

The English editing is awful, the overall image quality is bad, etc. It's really a huge mess.

Just to clarify, you're talking about the first 5 chapters right?

I honestly haven't even read that far. I've seen most of the anime though which I enjoyed, so I'd like to have the entire manga readable in good quality. Does the quality pick up past chapter 5?

Yes, the first five chapters are of questionable quality, probably due to the raws available at the time. My group picked up the series after chapter 5 with better quality raws. While it was one of our first projects, the quality should be fine and the translation rather solid.

Can you show me where I can see it? I don't doubt your group did a good job, but I just want to be sure before we completely throw away the idea of scanlating it. If you want, we could maybe do a temporary joint with your group to complete the first 5 chapters? Just a thought since the current ones out there are awful. All we need is a translator and then we're set to go.

You can find it anywhere, here: http://www.batoto.com/comic/_/comics/code-geass-hangyaku-no-lelouch-r1085

But I'm not interested in redoing the first 5 chapters either way.

Just a small update. We are in dire need of a translator to do the 5 lost chapters of the manga "Black Jack" by Osamu Tezuka. If you are only willing to translate these 5 chapters, we would still like you on board. Also, we're accepting other positions too with little experience required. So either e-mail me at Tonitonichopchop@live.co.uk, post here, or post on my site Some-Stuffs.com.

Another update. We found someone to translate the first chapter, but we could still use a translator to do the other four chapters! We could also use cleaners, editors, and typesetters!

Just thought I'd post that we're looking for a translator for the one shot "Shaman King Zero". If you're interested, please respond! We're also in need of typesetters so apply if you think you're good enough!
