I pay attention to the art style a lot, so yeah, I've managed to tell the difference quite a few times.

the art do look different most of the time, it's quite rare to miss that (but do happen sometimes)

I can only tell the difference between manga and manhwa, i'm not really familiar with manhua (I actually thought it was mispelled and ment manhwa)

also @sakura8429 freezing is a manga, but it was done by manhwa artist and arthur, I guess they moved to japan. 🤣

Most of the time, at least between manhwa and manga. The style difference is pretty distinct. Manhua is harder to identify. The differences are still there, but more subtle.

For me personally in shoujo and romance genera, manga is the typical pretty art. I feel manhuas art is generally more pretty than manga because there is more detail (ie Show Princess) and manhwa art is a bit more edgy (ie 100% Perfect Girl) of course there are lots of exceptions especially between manga and manhua, but the different style of each country is pretty evident

i think i can tell the difference between the three most of the time. manhua really stands out to me for some reason. i also think its the best artwork out of the three.

i also think that sometimes you can tell if a series is a manga, manhua, or manhwa from just the way the description is written. i mean if you ignore the Japanese, Chinese, or Korean character names, the way the descriptions sound are just different.

Korean comics do have a pretty distinctive style from their Japanese, Chinese or Taiwanese counterparts, but I can't really tell Chinese and Taiwanese comis from Japanese ones (except if it's outstanding artists like Benjamin etc. but that's rather telling an artist from others)

I can, most of the time, differentiate a manga from a manhwa because there's something about manhwa's art style that really turns me off. Though I can't tell the difference of a manhua's art.

Manhua aside - since I haven't had much experience with it - it's generally easy to distinguish between the Japanese/Korean artwork. Whilst I do like the intricate designs of the manhwa style, I really can't stand the awkward body proportions / lanky body frames. The characters also look far too "static" for my liking.

I've never really read a manhua, so I can't say that I can tell the difference between manga or manhua; but most of the time, I can tell the difference between manga and manhwa. Manhwa art style is just too different; to me, it looks so stiff compared to manga art.

I can't claim to have read a lot of manhwa, but I can typically distinguish it by looking at the hair. Characters in manhwa seem to have a lot more detail in their hair than their manga counterparts.
Otherwise, not really.

As for manhua, I don't think I've read any.
