she does not get Rita, he never feels anything more for her beyond friendship, & he sticks with the nerdy girl. Even if he splits up w/ the nerdy short haired girl its fine so long as he does not end up w/ Hatori.

Tbh I dont care who she ends up w/ so long as its not Rita. I am keeping an eye on this one but not gonna get too into it because alot of the times shoujo will just stick to the same old rules. You know the rules.

All the guys have to fall in love with the main character, there has to be a love triangle, no other girls exist or if they do they are bitches, and in the end the main character will always get or is able to get her first choice. Never is she faced with a guy who does not and never will want her. I'd like to see a main character in a shoujo get rejected & NEVER get that guy to fall for her. Somehow I fear Rita will regret it & fall for her which is why I havent read beyond the first few chapters. I'm waiting for the ending. It has potential. Girls get rejected & friendzoned too & sometimes will never get that guy. Lets see it.

Im up to date with this series and im hoping it wontvfall into the shoujo cliches we all know. Just gonna say, i will be very disappointed if she ended up with Rita. Seriously, is it too muchbto a sk for something original?

Shoujo and shounen both tend to disappoint me in this area. Its like its impossible for the main character to suffer a unrequited love and have it stay unrequited. I can find plenty where they move on but the original crush almost always ends up getting jealous and thats what bothers me. Onani Master Kurosawa is good in this regard but there are not many like it. I have yet to find a female version though. I guess I'm just tired of everything always working out for the main character.

Aw dang... I guess It's time to drop this manga... Maybe I'll get back to it if things turn around. But it looks like it probably won't. But who knows?

Such disappointment. 😢

Ugh... not liking the development from the raws I've read so far...

Seems like bestie is going to fall for Rita... Why are all the girls going gaga over this cheater?!

Despite that, I still want to continue reading to find out what's going to happen. Call it guilty pleasure or whatever, it's getting frustrating but not to the point that I'd throw away this manga yet... Not until I see Ayachi break that fake facade of her... That's her name, right? tsk.

SHE DID NOT JUST BREAK UP WITH HIM BECAUSE OF RITA. PHUCK PHUCK PHUCK. PHUCK EVERYTHING. PHUCK THIS. PHUCK HER. PHUCK EVERYONE.

so she did end up with rita. time to drop this manga like a hot potato... but i guess, they kinda deserved each other. rita is such a "me! me! me!" person and hatori's world only revolves around rita. so thats make hatori the ideal girl for him.

people kept saying that hatori is a relatable character. NO. SHE IS REALLY NOT. yes. i experienced unrequited love back in high school. but i didn't spent my whole high school chasing after that guy. dafuq with her life dreams and ambitions. she just wants to be in rita's side for always and forever 😕 girl, how about becoming a teacher? a celebrity? or maybe giving back a little to her parents? (it just gave me another thought what if i would have a daughter like Hatori in the future? the horrors!). Seems like, Hatori have this notion that she was born unto this world with the sole purpose to be with Rita's side. And that irked my feminist side to no end.

lol Don't drop it, it's a good manga. I even like Rita now, he seems to be really lonely =3

HS is a shoujo parody and that's the main reason why Hatori has to end up with Rita, otherwise we wouldn't laugh so much with its comical way of portraying clichés

She's relatable in a sense that people do get extremely emotional and obsessive with their crush or something. And her dirty mind about the whole of it.

All in all I get her characterization. And I love the meaning of the story. At first it might not be the best but a 2nd try is worth it.

She ended up with Rita because they're both losers in love. Think about it.....the ending was actually perfect.

It just seems a little unreal how everything always comes together in the last 4 or 5 pages. I hate it when the couple gets together and the it just ends.
