I know that there are a lot of stories about detectives out there, but I was wondering if there are any ones that have other cases besides homicides. I'd like it to focus on other units (missing person, abuse, etc.) to see how the manga-ka would choose to handle the cases.
Preferably, I'd like one where only a few cases deal with homicide.

M.C. Law was somewhat different. Although the main character is a lawyer, it felt by times almost like reading a detective story, so if you don't mind the profession, it might be interesting ... ^^"

The most famous probably Detective Conan. But 20th century boys has some elements of that.

Had you read Psychometrer Eiji? There are some murders but mostly other things
