I loved that kind of fighting mechanic ever since the X-men vs. Street Fighter games but that was the pinnacle of fighting games for me. I don't like 3D fighters too much but that might change when SCIV comes out based sole on graphics alone. SFIV and the upcoming downloadable Street Fighter HD will be great for having fun.

I find smash bros. to be a my favorite fighting game, cause it forces players to use their environment to win. But other than that Soul Caliber and Marvel vs. Capcom
