So like, where is the incest? It is tagged with "incest" soo like, does it have to do with minor side characters or the main character?

I guess in the Toko-Tsukumo relationship. There are a lot of things to consider because of the kinda obsessive zweilt relationships, added to the fact that they had previous lives, probably were lovers.

I'm only partway through the series but so far Tsukumo and Tooko (brother and sister) are a little TOO close. I could see them hooking up (BLEH) and it makes me shudder (GROSS...)

Yeah some people are into it, I have siblings so the thought of incest... NO. So no...

Luka and Yuki on the other hand? Not related and I'm SO into it haha

Yea same here, Im not a fan of incest. I don't really think Toko's and Tsukomo's relationship is incest, I mean yea they're really close and act all lovey dovey but dats cuz their souls are deeply connected to each other so its natural to treasure each other. Also there's the fact that incest means a sexual relationship (intercourse ) between 2 relatives, which in this case I don't see anything going on between them, it's just caring and loving each other like brother and sister. Though their relationship can get really annoying sometimes

Well, really, almost any pair you could possibly ship in Uraboku is going to be incest, because except for Luka and
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Kanata
's Duras minions, all the characters in the series are members of the Giou clan and it's branch families...meaning they're all relatively close cousins except for
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Takashiro, who is everyone's many-times great granduncle or something to that effect
.

That said, the tag definitely refers to Tooko and Tsukumo's relationship. ALL the Zweilt pairs are full of ship-tease fanservice, and Tooko and Tsukumo are not exempt - in fact, it's almost like the author has taken pains to make theirs just a little more obvious, so you can't possibly miss what's going on. For instance, we're treated to them waking up spooning in bed in one early chapter, and a bonus chapter deals with Tooko getting harassed by Tsukumo's fanclub for being so close to him they can't help but see her as competition for his affections (Not that there's any real competition, since Tsukumo only has eyes for her).

If all the hints aren't enough, chapter 46 makes it pretty clear. Tooko and Shuusei discuss how the Zweilt who survive the cycle are always
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
expected to marry within the family and produce children to carry on the bloodline. Shuusei says the Zweilt have always been unlucky with relationships, and gives Tooko and Tsukumo being reborn as siblings in every cycle as an example (With the implication that this is bad/unlucky because it means they can't be together)
. This also goes along with an earlier bonus comic where Tsukumo says he's sad he and Tooko have never been able to marry in any of their incarnations (In response to Hotsuma talking about being married to Shuusei in a past life and what a gorgeous woman he made).

It's fine if you don't like the pair, I understand that incest bothers some people, even if it's totally consensual and non-exploitative, but you can't pretend it's not happening, either. Being unable to be with the one you love is a major theme in Uraboku, and Tooko and Tsukumo's plight is just another variation on that.

Honestly what disgusts me is the prejudice people have against Toko/Tsukumo. Mostly coming hilariously from BL fans. Guys, I love Yaoi a lot, Im a hardcore shipper of all males in this manga, but honestly, I LOVE Toko and Tsukumo. I dont really care they're siblings, this is fiction not reality, and while in real life it would bother me, this is a work of FICTION. Toko is the only female zweilt in a bunch of dozens of guys, and just for the fact that she is clearly in a BL toned manga, she doesnt even have much screen time like the guys which, imo, is bad. A female character in a BL manga must not always be taken as "enemy" because of her gender. I love Toko, she is loyal and cute, and Tsukumo's devotion to her is absolutely adorable and heartbreaking. We're talking about a group that has died and been reborn many times, its not their fault how/where they are born. Toko and Tsukumo clearly love each other but they never crossed the line by kissing each other or becoming a couple. Yes there is a lot of hints that they love each other romantically, but tecnically its not incest. Now if it turns out to be incest, I will love it, because they are adorable together. That's true love. I didnt hear anyone complaining in Vampire Knight with Kaname being blood related to Yuki and everyone shipped their incest with no problem. Also this is FICTION FOR GOD'S SAKE. If we go adapt it to reality, then no one should ship Luka x Yuki, because tecnically its pedophilia. (Ewwww!).
I love all pairings....Toko and Tsukumo are super sweet and this manga deserves a hetero couple because it has too many BL couples and triangles.
