Having a hard time following all the mayhem but
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
if the new monster really is a reborn Riful and Priscilla just dies at her hands like that things would be pretty anti-climatic
so far the mangaka hasn't disappointed in any storytelling yet though so i guess it remains to be seen.

I wonder what difference Cadandra, the dust eater, being conscious again would make? It didn't seem like she was all that intriguing a character (i could be wrong <---own opinion) and it seems like all the other major players in the battle would do away with her pretty quickly.

Arg! wish they didn't rush the anime ending would've been amazing to see this part of series animated at some point!

I don't think Priscilla will die so easily without Clare's direct involvement. Either she'll make a comeback and escape in chapter 135, or Riful Mk.2 will keep her living head as a trophy. Or something.

As for Cassandra, I really hope that the Ghosts manage to revert her to human consciousness without fatally hurting her. She may not be the most intriguing character but the girl has suffered enough for two lifetimes. I'd love to see something nice happening to her for a change.

As for the anime ending, I don't think that it's much of a hurdle. The first Fullmetal Alchemist anime went off the rails for the entire last third of the series, not just one episode, and they still made a new season that followed the manga.
