It would be realy nice if there was one alternative releases page (eg bellow releases button)
which would show only releases from series that we added to our eg:
Reading List | Wish List | Complete List | Unfinished List | On Hold List | MUST READ etc...

with the option to select from which lists it should disply most recent releases....

well right now pple have to dig through 5 or 6 or 7 or more pages by scrolling through to check which of their favs were released while they were absent, and often releases/series are missed that way

Er... Why not just use your reading list then? Set it to "show latest chapter" and sort by "unread releases." Series with unread chapters are then bumped to the top and the latest chapter released is shown in red beside the title.

In fact, your reading list (and any other personal list) is in essence a "favorite releases" list. That's why you put them in your lists to begin with.

becouse i, and i bet other people too, have more then one list, and only the reading list has this option,

i have only 88 titles in "reading list" while in eg "Wish list" i have 255, of which more then several are already in process of being scanlated.

other list like "tl candidate" , "hiatus", "must read", "do zajzenia", "when bored" and others also have series.... and i bet i'm not the only one to use the function of segragating your collection.....

what? you suggest i drop everything into "reading list" ? what about segragation?

that's why i mentioned "option to select witch would be shown" and in orderly fashion under one link/button, not by clicing through several pages, deep in the mangaupdates system.

In "edit lists" you can set what kind of list you want it to be.

In my case, I have a "wish - untranslated" list in which I dump everything I want to read but still does not have any scanlated release. It is technically a wish list but I have it set as a reading list and use the same settings I specified above so that I can see at a glance if any of the titles is no longer untranslated. In fact, I have 16 custom lists, half of which are set as "reading," and I only use 2 out of those 8 lists as "real" reading lists: reread (which does not get any new release) and novel (which I hardly update).

The only real down side to this is that the indicators used in the releases page stay the same. So a release from a title in any of your reading lists is displayed with a document icon.

Won't it be easier and more user frendly to do just one page with what i specified in first post, instead of having to go through several kinds of settings, somewhere deep and complicated, where most of us lowly mortals are to dumb or/and to lazy to dig up? Segregated moreover by the same engine which is currently being used in another part of mangaupdates system (Releases page) and as such needs little additional coding?

also i like when different kind of my reading priorities are displayed with different kind of picture, instead of having them all the same as you do.

I dunno. You're basically asking for something that already exists lol. I think it would be better to suggest improvements on the user lists rather than making a redundant feature.

I agree on custom icons for lists.
