Typesetter 6. QCer Below are some explanation on the responsibilities which you will be taking for each of the roles: 1. Translator (URGENT!!) To translate manga / manhua / manhwa from below languages to English: Japanese Korean Chinese Requirements : Programs : MS Word Or Notepad ( Any software that you can write on will do the trick ) 2. Cleaner A Cleaner cleans. By clean, we mean leveling, duplicating, redrawing, cloning, and making the manga look beautiful for the typesetter. We are looking for experienced cleaners Requirements : Programs : Photoshop CS3 , CS4 , CS5 ,OR CS6 or GIMP 3. Raw Provider / Scanner 1. Find good quality scans for us on the internet. It takes a lot of work and sometimes it sucks because the scans just don’t exist. 2. Scan the manga/manhwa yourself. I know it’s hard because not everyone has access to a scanneror a place where they can buy raws, but if you do please help us spread the manga/manhwa love. 4. Proofreader Closed A Proofreader has to go over the translated work correcting all mistakes (grammatical errors, misspellings, etc.) Basically, you will help the translator to improve the translation, whether it is to fix grammar or to correct vocabularies . You can also help translator to make the wordings flow naturally. Requirements : Programs : MS Word Or Notepad Most Important Thing High Level English 5. Typesetter A Type-setter types the translated Japanese text in to the cleaners Raw's . Its an easy job Requirements : Programs : Photoshop CS3 , CS4 , CS5 ,OR CS6 or GIMP Fonts : Manga Temple Anime Ace CC Meanwhile DigitalStrip CC Comiccrazy Blambot Casual Arial Arial Black Calibri Comic Sans MS Verdana Times New Roman Webdings Tahoma Helvetica Anything extra : Skill & Hard Work 6. QCer A quality checker checks the entire work done by the staff members on the manga and make all the necessary to the manga .
