I have read the raws up to chapter 29. He doesn't cry all the time. I don't think he thinks of the women as anything other than friends (so far at least). He's trying to make a living and think about his future most of the time.

He does seem to have a purpose, and his has so much stress. I would've broke down and cried too if I was in his shoes.

It seems like his "sister" is his most important person, and he wants to be independent so he can protect her. This might be just because I like Kyoko and I'm reading into that one page from that chapter too much.
