I once stumbled upon a manga in which a main character was going to school in a world were vampires where known and people feared them, living inside fortified cities. At school the boys friend turns into a vampire and starts eating people. Then some other girl shows up with this monster arm which eats vampires. I saw it in 2011 but haven't found it since despite my solo efforts.
