These are the forum rules!
Please follow these rules! They're there to help make everyone's experience on these forums a good one.
This site does not offer any manga downloads or manga to read online.
- (Modified 08/27/10) DO NOT ask where to download manga. Asking for download sites is the same as asking for download links. Asking where to read manga online is ALSO the same as asking for downloads. We are an information site and NOT a download site. You need to find it on your own. Read this for some reasons why. To extend this rule, we also do not allow you to post links to scanlation downloads.
- (Added 02/11/07, modified 02/27/12) Keep signature & sig images to a reasonable size (cannot break the site width and max height of 400px).
- No flaming, name calling, yelling (caps), etc.
- No hardcore swearing. It's okay every now and then, but keep it minimal.
- Don't post offensive content.
- No spamming (including ads etc, but recruiting is okay! But please keep it in your sig or the recruiting forum)
- Please do not post one word posts. Post more than a few words if possible.
- Please don't spoil!
- Respect the mods!! Their decisions are final!
- Do not double post
- (Added 08/11/07)(Modified 05/14/08) Do not post explicit images unless in the Adult (18+) section of the forum (and those images must be MANGA related. This includes NOT posting explicit images in avatars, signatures, or image polls
- (Added 08/17/07) Any mention of vimanga in an attempt to get access there will not be tolerated. It is considered spam
- (Added 08/22/07) We are not allowing the buying or selling of any products through the use of our forum
- (Added 09/29/07) Any thread deemed inappropriate in any way will be locked. (That means WE (the staff) will decide which topics are inappropriate)
- (Added 12/06/07) Thread titles must be appropriate for all people from different races, genders, age groups, etc
- (Modified 08/27/10) Asking for scanlation status will not be allowed. This means no asking "is this scanlated?" or anything similar. It also means to not ask for something to be scanlated.
- (Added 08/24/08) No asking for the status of any website (in particular The Evil Empire). That means no bugging us about why a particular site crashed or if it is down for everyone else. (If it is a scanlator's site in question, we'll give some slack if they have recently been active.)
- (Added 08/27/10) No mentioning that "_____ series is scanlated and can be found here ____"

Modified the rule on asking about scanlations so that people don't ask for someone to scanlate it. Go to the groups yourselves.
Modified the rule on scanlations so that it explicitly says that we do not allow download links to even be posted on the forums
Added rule on no posting scanlation updates/locations on the forum
PS: I just noticed that it's been exactly 2 years since we modified any of these rules

Modified sig rules to specify that the width of the sig cannot break the site width layout and the height should not be greater than 400px (and even then, that's pushing it)
