Now, it is possible to access a lot of information about the tournament in friendlier formats.

I know it is not very pretty, and I would be able to do a better job (I know how to use my dreamweaver) but as I'm linking to an external site, I don't want to have problems with the admins, so I'll probably leave it as simple as that.

If the admins let me make a complete website about the tournament, I'll probably do it.

Right now I'm focusing in the information, if it's updated and easy to access, I thik that's good enough....for now...

About the final round in voting, how about having people who've read about 2 or more of the titles in the list be allowed to vote? Otherwise, I think it's going to be just another popularity contest based on which title is more commonly known rather than quality. Also, I'm sure many people here have read at least 3 or those titles seeing how many votes they got...

I know, but I just wanted to get it out anyway. I mean, there are plenty of book contests where they ask participants to read a certain number of the nominated books before voting, and as far as I know, they always at least try to...

The only way I see that your suggestion could work, is if somehow the polls were connected with the Reading and complete lists, that way if you got more than 2 titles from the poll in your lists, the system would let you vote.

But I have no control over that, and even if I a had, I don't have the knowledge to do something even close to that, sorry.

But I think it is a great idea. cough admins cough nextyear *cough * 😛

Anyway, I don't know much about shoujo, so I can't tell, but the fact that neither Bleach or Naruto is winning in Shounen (Bleach rank 3, Naruto 10) proves that at least this is not completely a popularity contest.

And about making a website for the tournament, if I see more interest I might do it, but the fact is that the number of votes per poll is decreasing 😔

Do you know that the people who vote for the Oscars aren't even required to watch any of the movies in the nominees list and they can even vote for something they've never watched? That's just the way it is because there's really no means of verification...

Anyway, great job, MajorMarmot. Must've taken a lot of time to do that. Having a bracket drawn like this is so cool, it almost feels like the character battles in gamefaqs. XD

i think things like this are kinda pointless because major fans never vote lol u get 31 votes for one piece yet it has millions of faitfull readers lol. one the bright side tho it does give a good list of manga to read
