Ok, so I'm aware of the 12 hour clock and the 24 hour clock, that much I can understand.
But then I came across the airing time for Rosario+Vampire,http://www.rosa-vam.com/onair.html
23:30 I get,
but then the rest,
26:00
26:15
25:30
26:40

😲

What is this?!? I've been searching around for a bit but not that much has turned up? What kind of time do the Japanese people use 😕

Are you sure it's about time?..
Maybe that's the length of the episodes?..(seems too long though)..
I can't say.. I can't read japanese, and I've never heard of such time sets..
There are only 24 in a whole day..

I found it, they made the day even 30 hours long so that they could get more work done!!

In Japan they use hours greater than 24 for times after midnight but before people actually go to bed. So 2:00 am is actually 26:00 in japan.

Sweet! Thanks a bunch! 😀
So it was carried over, yeah, that kinda confused me when I saw it, now it makes a bit more sense if it's 2:00 am = 26:00....
