Edit by mod: No asking where to read or download manga.

Well, it wouldn't hurt to try the novel volumes if you really are that curious. You'll find them easily if you just search the net.

I've read all the volumes and in my opinion, it was at least worth it. I don't really know about the translations being poor or whatever but at least in my case, I pretty much understand what's going on.

The manga Only the Ring Finger Knows follows indeed the first part of the first novel, pretty much word for word. The rest of the novel, which is complete in Japan and fully translated into English and German (licensed), covers the first two years of their relationship. There are 5 volumes of the novel and it's pretty satisfying if all you're looking for is some sense of closure for this couple.

Now, as for the novel being worth reading. It is not a marvellous piece of literature, truth be told, and in the English translation the editing is quite bad, but other than that you can still enjoy it, especially if you read it at intervals. I don't think it's something worth wasting money on, unless you have money to spare (and I really mean "to spare", like you won't need it ever, haha). Why do I say this? Well, like I said, it's not that great or outside the box. The storytelling is a little tiring, the new characters are annoying, and the events pretty mundane and predictable. Of course it's still a sweet story, and I for one wouldn't mind seeing this whole work adapted into manga, but as a full-blown book it's quite unnecessary. And I don't say this easily, trust me, because I do love this couple and I absolutely adore the manga.

I don't regret reading it or anything, and I read the 5 volumes rather slowly, as the translated version came out, but..... I kinda want my money back laugh
