...a oneshot I read a few months back. I was stupid and forgot to add it in my complete list.

It's probably shoujo, since the story was kind of girly and so were the drawings. I know it was a oneshot, but I'm not sure if it was with a collection of other oneshots or not.

The story was basically about this girl who was trying to defend the school garden or something from being demolished. Apparently there's this legend that if two people kiss there they would be happy in love forever or something gay like that. Anyway this girl really believes in that legend because that's how her parents got together.

Enter the princely good-looking student council president (and the bitchy student council secretary who had a minor role in the story that I forgot). The school ordered the demolition and he is also for it. The two become enemies-ish since they're on opposite sides, although not in a hostile way. The girl is very plucky and nice, while the guy is snarky most of the time IIRC. The girl does lots of volunteer works and public campaigns to save the garden, while the guy mostly makes fun of her.

One day, the guy saw the girl planting flowers in the garden. He approaches her curiously, and asks why she's working so hard to save the garden even though the school's decision is final. The girl tells him about the legend and how her parents got together. The guy then makes fun of her believing in such a childish fairy tale.

The girl then reveals that her parents are actually deceased, and that the garden is a very precious memory of her parents to her. The guy was absolutely shocked (and so was I; I did not expect that a shoujo manga could play that twist so well). He then decides to help her plant flowers in the garden.

Time skip (to the day of demolition I think). The girl started a petition campaign. The principal agreed that if she got 1000 signatures, they would halt the demolition. Luckily the girl only needs one more signature. However, time is running out. The girl is desperate and runs to the principal, who is with the student council. She begs him to stop the demolition, but sadly she doesn't have enough signatures.

Then, the student council president steps in. He says something like "You just need one more signature right?" and signs the petition. The petition finally reached its goal, and the demolition is suspended.

The girl meets the guy in the garden, and thanks him the help. They share a romantic moment and the guy kisses her in the garden. The last line is him saying something like "So, about the legend..."

I'm not sure with some of the details, but the main story is basically this. Can someone please help me find the title of this manga? confused

Not sure about some details? You described the whole story down to a T. I have a feeling that I have read this one shot. But, It was probably before I started keeping a track of the manga I read because I can't find it on my lists sad I'd like to know the name as well, so I am just bumping it back to the recent news eyes
