So, any video game soundtracks you guys like? I like the Halo 2 and Killer Instinct soundtracks.

The one i really like are Yasunori Mitsuda works:
-Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross
-Xenogears -> it's remixed album Creid and Light are good too.
and
-Suikoden Series -> especially Reminiscent and Under the Moonlights from Suikoden 2

Kingdom Hearts is cool
Donkey Kong for pure nostalgia purposes
Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 are fantastic.
Zelda Windwaker is unforgettable.
Fantasy Star Universe also has some great tracks.

My all time favorite is the soundtrack to Gitaroo Man. I bet no one even played that game.

I tend to like soundtracks from my favorite games. I don't know if they're really that good, or if I just played the game so much that I started to like the music after hearing it so many times. I love the soundtrack of FFVIII, and I love the music in Suikoden in general, especially Suikoden II. I also have a little bias for Devil May Cry 4 because even though I haven't played it, L'ArcenCiel sung the theme song, soooo... 😀 😀 😀

Well I don't play video games, but I'm absolutely addicted to soundtracks...
I like both soundtracks of movies aswell as video-games...

FFVII - nostalgic value.

I could wait 5 years and play any song off of any of the soundtracks, and I'd still know it perfectly.

Final Fantasy VII. I have FF7 OST (4 cds), Piano Collection and Reunion Tracks. From those my favorites are Valley Of The Fallen Star (Cosmo Canyon Theme) and One Winged Angel (Piano Version)
