i can honestly say i did not see him just falling over like that i thought Sasuke was gonna lose an eye i was waiting for that. I was cheering for that. At least Sasuke didn't pull out another great move which would have made the fight just not worth it at all. The best part of the whole chapter was the look in Sasuke's eyes when he knew he couldn't do anything else and here came his defeat that was a great look. If that doesn't put him back in his place than i have lost all hope for him.
Edit:my bad i named it wrong long day i thought i hit the 3 and did pay attention it was supposed to be 393. What a jackass i am.

What I got from this chapter is that Susanoo is the most ultimate technique ever seen in the manga, and it might be just too powerful for it's own good.

I think that Itachi was doomed since the moment he pulled it out, because I'm guessing that you die some minutes after you use it.

Judging from the smile that Itachi had just before passing out, he already knew that it was his lost.

A weapon that can kill or seal every being and technique, and a shield that can protect from every kind of attack, only has some sense in any plot line with some loop as certain dead if you use it.

He's honestly like a cockroach, I hope we don't get to see Oro's dumb face again... especially since Jiraya already kicked the bucket. Only seems fitting that Oro is dead for good, since Jiraya's "hermit mode" looked like it could pwnage Oro so very badly...

Susanoo might not be that strong then, or perhaps he needed to be stronger to use it correctly, or another level of sharingan (Sasuke's eyes?).

I also hope Oro is dead, it wouldn't be fair for Jiraya if he remains alive.......actually....we are not sure that Jiraya is dead, are we?

I liked the chapter, Itachi back to being Sasuke´s big brother, i hope Sasuke got the meaning of Itachi poking his forehead.
I think it was the perfect ending for the fight.

I think in the end Itachi knew he was through so he did that to make a point. If I read it's meaning correctly it was something like a "I may have lost but I'm still your older brother," kind of idea. Remember in Japanese culture familial hierarchy is pretty important.

I think it was a way to tell Sasuke "i´m (still) your big brother". Maybe Itachi has been lying to Sasuke about his purpose or maybe he just realized he was wrong before dying. I don´t think Itachi did that just because he run out of strenght to take Sasuke´s eyes.
Sasuke was shocked, so i hope he would see the deeper meaning of the forehead poke.

im pretty sure if itachi could have he would have killed sasuke. he was smiling at the absurdity of his situation... the only way he was able to beat his younger brother was by sacrificing himself. it was a way of laughing at death one last time i suppose.

susanoo is indeed a sweet technique although we didn't see it do anything other than use ancient weapons

if that snake is orochimaru, this won't be the last we see of itachi.

btw where is kisame? do we get to see that fight? it seems like the atkatsuki will retresat next issue
