Okay, how about this for a romance manga:

A big brother finds out that his quiet, shy, and socially akward little sister has less than a year to live (could be a misunderstanding 🙂 ). By accident he finds out her greatest dream, to experience romance. He finds out that she likes that popular guy at school who'm he can't stand(could also be a misunderstanding 😀 ), but still sets plan in motion to get them to date. However convincing this guy to go out with his socially akward and probably not the best looking little sister proves to be harder than he thought, and helping his little sister to overcome her insecurities proves to be just as if not harder. Will this matchmaker brother with a mission from heaven succeed?

So any manga like that? 😀

(Probably not, but then maybe a mangaka by some randomness reads this and steals the idea 😀 )

Well, I'm thinking maybe his little sister faints or something from a panic attack which brings her to a hospital. At the hospital he has to go from her room to the toilet, but sort of gets lost and takes a bit of time, so that when he finally returns to the room, he hears the doctor say 'I'm sorry, she only has one year left to live.' from behind the door. The brother obviously thinks the doctor is talking to his sister and mother, but in reality he is just practicing delivering bad news with the nurse cleaning up the room after his little sister left.

Back at home the brother acts a little weird, but then he's probably always been a bit weird. While struggling with what he can do for his sister, he comes up with the idea to fullfill her dreams. So he starts by trying to find her diary or whatever, and discovers she wishes to find her prince in shining armor. The diary he found was probably hidden in a carton in some dark corner of the house, and something she wrote when she was 8. She's 14 now.

So who's the prince? Of course, according to all the shoujo mangas his sister reads it must be the best looking and most popular guy in school, who also happens to be the brother's archenemy.
