Hey all, I'm looking to find a female MC or lead character with a similar personality to Revy from Black Lagoon, preferably something with action but it doesn't have to be. The aspects of her personality I am looking for something similar to is just that tough talking, confident, violent way she acted. Or a female who has a wild streak to her, as in she drinks and smokes and what not

I've heard people say the characters in Jormungand are similar but I don't see much similarities between the leads in all honesty, the vibe of the series yes but not really character wise.

Any help is appreciated!

I've never seen anyone compare Revy and Koko Hekmatyar to each other before... Yeah, the series themselves have a similar vibe but the characters are anything but.

Perhaps you could check out Murciélago. The MC is a bloodthirsty serial murderer who has been assigned to be the goverments "cleaner." She is definitely confident and bloodthirsty and talks the way she walks. She doesn't cuss that much though.

Teppuu is a relatively realistic martial arts / MMA manga with a female lead who is anything but typical. She has a bunch of issues, is arrogant and sadistic, and relishes the chance to mentally break down others. Overall, most of her character traits are often found on the villain, not the MC. I'm definitely digging Natsuo.

Not a manga but an anime: Michiko to Hatchin.

Michiko is definitely very similar to Revy. Her relationship with the female cop remined me a lot of Revy+the nun Eda.
