well i just finished watching episode 2 and i think Rollo is Nunally. im keeping my post short but does anyone else have theories, predictions, or rants about the new season.

I'm 99% certain that Rollo is not Nunally.

The directors have stated that this season has nine main characters, and Rollo and Nunally are explicitly listed separately. (Aside from those two, the others are Suzaku, Lelouch, Kallen, CC, Anya, Lee, and Zino). Additionally,they have stated that Nunally is somewhere where Lelouch can't reach, and that her location is one of the driving forces behind the season. Besides that, Nunally has a brother complex, and Rollo probably knows that Lelouch is Zero. Even if Nunally knew, I doubt that she would do anything to hinder or harm him in any way.

I predict that Lee forces the Chinese Union to betray Lelouch somewhere aroundepisode 14-15. Also, VV is clearly the Emperor's contractor.

I had some random thoughts after I watched the second episode:
Geass commands can be broken, potentially only through a contractor's aid (Lelouch broke the Emperor's order.) Does this mean that the Emperor can use the geass on Lelouch again now that the order is void? Additionally, is there a significance to having a Geass in both eyes? Mao's geass was almost inarguably more powerful than Lelouch's (larger range, permanent usage, etc.), so does the Emperor's have greater capabilities as well as far as duration and range are concerned?

I'm pretty sure that's not possible. Nunally, for one, is a female. Also she was blinded because of the trauma caused by witnessing her mother's death, so she even wouldn't able to use Geass. She was also paralyzed from the waist down so she wouldn't walk...

Furthermore, the Emperor Charles wouldn't be able to remove that memory because she can't see him to begin with.

well first you seem to not be considering that each guess has its own power and limitations. and my thoughts of him having guess in both eyes is that mabe he has 2 powers (which he can combine to get a third power).

and i doubt lee would betray lulouch for it would be stupid of him. if he did then thier would be a threeway battle between the chinese black knights and the britania empire. if it came down to that situation the chinese and the BK would be wiped out by the BE a very large force with great milatary power. I think Lee will coast on lulouchs milatary brillience and popularity till the BE is destroyed at least

He ordered Lelouch to forget, so it's at least something similar.

Additionally, Mao had both eyes active, so it seems to be an effect rather than a suggestion that he has two. And why would he need to use both at once to make an order? It just doesn't make sense.

i personally viewed his power as something that could rewrite a persons memory how else could Lulouch have then thought he had a brother

Also possible, but it's still a power being overwritten, which raises the same questions.

Someone on another site mentioned that he thought Rollo's geass could be teleportation after the last episode, which makes a lot of sense. It explains how he suddenly grabbed Lelouch from Kallen in the first episode, and his crazy Knightmare movement and evasion in the last one. Apparently he also does something that involves incredibly fast movement if you attempt to Geass him in the Lost Colors game.

interesting. Rollo having the power to teleport that makes alot of sense but im guessing he has a limit of how far he can teleport and it seems also that he has some sort of wait time(1-10 secs) before he can use it again.

That part erked me more than the rest, it's Geass, not Guess.

Rolo is definitely not Nunnally, they're not stupid enough to put Lelouch's goal right beside him and go "oh yeah, that girl you were looking for? We made her into a he , good luck with your new brother!". Rolo is also mentioned as a character of his own in Code Geass: Lost Colors.

I loved it, and yea Rollo is definitely not Nunally. Oh btw what exactly is Karen's name? In different subs ive seen it as Karen, Karin, and Kallen, wtf is it exactly. I personally think there's a lot more to the Geass, C.C, V.V than we can ever imagine. I mean I completely didn't predict Lelouch accidentally Geassing Euphie in the first season, I'm hatch a guess that the Geass is even more than the Emperor of Britainnia knows about, but i'm pretty sure there's gonna be an insane plot twist somewhere like there was last season.

I also got a laugh out of him restarting the USJ, heh I think the producers are either giving props to the USA or subtly snubbing them.

Her official romanized named is Kallen, with two ls, although it's pronounced Karen in Japanese thanks to the general limitations of the language.

I believe Kallen is her Brittanian name and Karen is her Japanese (Eleven) name.

Pertaining to the whole "Emperor having Geass" situation, I'm thinking that the fact that he uses his Geass with two eyes is simply the sign of the extent of his evolution. Forgive me if my memory fails, because it usually does, but wasn't Mao's Geass stated to have evolved at some point after he got it?

Anyways, it does seem to indicate an increase in "power," especially since only Lelouch's early stage (and now Rollo) have had it in one eye. Though, a question I hold in my mind is the exact nature of the Emperor's Geass. His is unique in that it can turn on and off (a trait characteristic of Lelouch's before its evolution) and is expressed in both eyes (a trait characteristic of Mao's). Before him, it seemed to me that being able to deactivate it seemed like the product of an underdeveloped Geass, but this contradicts my previous comment on how the Emperor's has mostly likely evolved. Thus, would that mean his Geass exhibits the trait of being extensively evolved?

I think it's feasible that Lelouch pushes Britannia out of Japan half way thru the season and the rest of it is them fighting the Chinese Federation because it seems to me that the Chinese Federation is just using Lelouch to try to take Japan for themselves.

I just finished watching the raw (with my limited Japanese comprehension I probably only got about 75-80% of it correct), and it was pretty good. Usually the school-based episodes are quite bad compared to the rest of the series, but this one was plot driven enough to keep it interesting.
