I've noticed a trend. A character will do something horrible (cheat,betray,etc) to another (the mc usually) and just get forgiven for their actions by the person. I've seen stories where it will be years later and they are friendly even though 1 character did something horrible to the other.

Example: I read reading this oneshot

2 girls were in love, and then you find out 1 of the girls cheated and got pregnant. She dropped out of school and then it shows years later they are just friendly again.

I want some where the mc legitimately hates this person and wants nothing to do with them. The person who fucked up desperately trying to get back in their good graces. And I mean if done right, maybe they do and it's a happy ending. (seen it work & not work. When it doesn't work it's usually because the person who did it is a gigantic piece of shit from beginning to end with no real development or anything.) If not, I want the mc to find someone better. Now, I'm sure if that's the case then thois instance it would be more of a side plot for a side character that's connected to the MC, and that's fine.

I want the MC to be male, but it's not a requirement.

I know this is a shot in the dark, but I'm seeing what you fine folks can come up with.

Maybe [m] Ai Yori Aoshi [/m], the main character legitimately hates his family and wants nothing to do with them.
