well, straight to the point, i read H mangas as well as the other genres. but i hate to see "incest", you may say it is just drawing but i hate the idea of it. so if you can put a new genre named incest we can filter it.

and well it usally says incest in the description or something to that extent in the summary. like this brother likes his sisters or vice versa or whatever. well as far as genres go as I dont really care either way

Define Incest in manga is pretty difficult. Is that include Sex only? how about some light-hearted teasing? Imouto Wa Shishunki come to mind

But a solution for that is putting incest as a subgenre of Hentai. Which mean light-hearted teasing/loving is not Incest. Mind you that still left some outrageous titles out there. And it does not solve the problem of normal manga dealing with incest issue (no sex scene in the manga).

well, since it they are not related with sex, they are not incest. like you said it would be good to have a subgenre under hentai section.

If we put up a new genre named incest we gonna have to put up a bloody bunch of other genres too. Can't have preference over incest you know.

And the last words: usually guys did that kind of manga also say something about the content. As far as I remember, there;s no incest manga without some kind of description telling you that.

won't work. Take a looks at Host Club, the twins are always doing something. Take a look at Aoi Destruction, nothing happens between the father and son but a lot is implied. When a manga is heavy with incest, it is usually hentai.

thats a good idea, i think you'd define incest as Relationships between related people, you can put in all manga that imply incest wither it was light or heavy.

Well isn't "angst" just "drama" taken to a more painful or extreme level? And as for adding more genres, people are still going "but we have 'supernatural' and 'fantasy' and yet these two groups are a stone's throw away from being in the same group".

I don't know if Manick plans on adding a "tagging" system which would have keyword descriptions. I talked with him in PM and he said that he has a program that has 50 keywords that would describe every movie (I sort of wonder myself if all movies' plots could be 'described' in 50 different words) and work how IMDB describes movies. Here's the example of Walk the Line's one. Since I picked a biopic, there aren't any real "spoilers", I guess.I wouldn't have considered the main couple "Star Crossed Lovers" but that thing seems to cover even "broken glass". I don't even remember where that was a part of the movie, but I guess this shows if a person wants to look for some really obscure scene where a glass gets dropped (actually, that doesn't seem unmemorable), that might be 1 second of the film, it's included. 🤣 😉

I would rather read manga and not know what is coming and what is not.
I got rid of useless morals in my life and it really did make life a lot easier.
