Cake or Pie
Soft bready goodness? Or a bonanza of fillings?
😕
If you had a choice, to get the worlds greatest cake, or the world's greatest pie which would you choose? (in other words, if you HAD to choose one)

There is no option for "both". 😔
I really can't choose, I love cakes AND pies~ 😃

Pie with icecream is so good. Think Pie has alot more variations that cake, because cake is all cake, while pie can be almost any fruit you can think off...
On a side note, is "cheesecake" a cake or a pie, because its realy a filling on a crust which makes it a "pie" yet has "cake" in its name.

Probably Cake.
I don't mind sweet pies with apple or berry filling.... but I got sick of meat pies while I was living overseas (in a country that's full of pies.... people from there should know what I mean, coz they're just as sick of meat/sheperd's pie as I am)
Point & Squirt
there really should be a both 🙁
i love them both 😃
what would cobbler be considered?

IMO cheesecake & cobbler are neither cake nor pie, they're in their own categories...though if I had to put them one place or another, I'd put them both in pie because the process of making them is more like making pie than cake.
Darn you all, now I want to go on a baking spree! 🤣

Cobbler is pie. I know some culinary experts would kick my ass for saying that, but it basically is pie.
Cheese cake... that's debatable. but for poll reasons lets say its cake... cause you can layer it. You can't have layers in pies... unless you consider the crust a layer...

Cake is always so dry, at least in my experience. 🤢 Pie ftw~

Boston Cream Pie = Pure Win
It's both cake and pie. 😉
I chose Pie, however because I've had more bad cakes than bad pies.
