I am appalled at the lack of a signature thread! 
Since there's an avatar thread, I think we should have a signature thread too. You know, to elaborate on it. I just changed mine (temporarily). And it's some fanart of Yoruichi from Bleach, with one of her quotes. (You know, the one from the hot water scene.)
... Oh, and right! The linky leads to where the cool people are at.

i normally just put quotes this time its "of all the things ive lost, i miss my mind the most" which is very true 
last one was "everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privlage"

Mine is called Blue Horizon by Peter Wileman. I like the colors which were used for this artpiece.
The phrase "I don't know you" on the other hand is a tagline from one of my fave films: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

I have a pretty straight forward sig.
Read a book, because the ignorant need to teach themselves.
The second one... self-explanatory.

Seeing as how big sticks aren't as intimidating as they used to be, I'd rather carry a big gun. To me the quote means that one must have a demeanor and reputation that demands respect.

Well, the only notably weird stuff on my signature is
"A just ruler amongst tyrants"
which is a reference to my custom title of "Archon Solon" (look at any of my posts, and you'll see it right below the avatar, where other people have "Member", "Moderator", and the like
(Only other custom title is Manick's "Untitled"
The rest is advertising for Folding@Home~
