I was wondering if anyone knew any old shoujo and could suggest some to me? Or recent/current shoujo done in old school shoujo style.
---
I know about
IKEDA Riyoko
YAMAGISHI Ryouko
TAKEMIYA Keiko
and
AOIKE Yasuko
but I'm not sure about their works so is their anything specifically you'd really recommend.
Thank you :]

From the authors you mentioned only one that had one manga I know of (but haven't read) is Ikeda's Versailles no Bara that is mentioned in countless manga.
Only your wish list and on hold list are public, so I don't really know if you had read some of those or not:
Miriam
Candy Candy
Pansy
Boku no Chikyuu wo Mamotte
Glass no Kamen

It's kinda obvious, but you absolutely have to read Glass Mask by Miuchi Suzue. Though unfortunately it was discontinued after volume 42 u.u;;
There's also Swan, which is a sport type shoujo on ballet. Though there's no scanlation it has been licensed in English by CMX.
Ouke no Monshou was also really popular back when I was little. I personally don't much care for the heroine, but the cover art was always really pretty? XD Again, this one was discontinued after volume 53.

HIKAWA Kyouko has a lot of adorable stuff from the 70's and 80's:
Chotto Friday and Chizumi & Fujiomi come to mind.
(She also wrote the Miriam series.)
How old school are you looking at? (90's? 80's? Further back?) Fluffy or drama?

SAITO Chiho or SHINOHARA Chie maybe?
I'm reading Saito's Kanon right now, it's good . Too bad it has been discontinued.
