So do you formally rate/vote your series anywhere? For me, I used to...but I kinda got lazy and haven't rated anything in the last year or so

I do, here at least.

For every series I read, I rate it once it reaches 3 volumes (or ends if it's shorter than that). I don't add a comment until it's complete though.

Yes, for most of the series on my reading list and for almost all on my complete list. Though it's not like I over-analyze what rating I give to each manga.

I also seem to be more harsh than virtually everyone else (I believe that if you average the scores from all of my lists it comes out to about 5, which was my goal).

That kinda depends on the manga and the story itself.

If it has good characters, deep plot and unique materials, I'll give it a higher rating. Otherwise, I'll just rate the series 5 or below.

I rate everything, and my numbers are a bit arbitrary, I think. I give thought into each number I put in, but they're based on different criteria for each series.

I always rate a series when I've read enough of it, and I choose my ratings carefully. My opinion is important! 😃 😁
But really, more people should rate series. 'Cause I want to be able to look at a sufficient rating graph. Besides, it's not like it's even hard. You can go down your list here and rate them really quickly. I mean come on people, if you're too lazy even to do that, then you deserve an award. And my disapproval and scorn, you pathetic bums. 🤣

I'm trying harder now to rate and write a little review for every series that I finish reading. But if you look at my Complete list there isn't much there yet. 🙁

I usually vote for the manga I really like/hate. In the end, my rating depends on my feeling of the manga despite of its flaws (Ie. One piece, Naruto... get max points) To me, my feeling about a manga is far more important than my logical analysis.
