and POSTING REVIEWS on the mangas that I hate and Love~~as they say..it's "freedom of expression"..

Plus, the forum here is pretty active and have variety of threads. It's very impressive.

i swear i remember answering this question before. or something really similar to it. no wait, that was "how," i think. anyways, i was drawn by the extremely convenient list. :] i later discovered the awesome-ness of the database.

Well, i voted that the list is a good way to keep up with the manga, but when i first came to site i thought i could get all the manga i wanted here and i few mins into it i realized the latter 😛 . And then i found out that the database is awesome, i'm very impressed with Mangaupdates 😀

Everything has a price.

I come for a variety of reasons, to get the updates on the releases, look for different manga in the database, and the forum is great~

My friend recommended me, but he did so because it is a good way to keep track of manga and find new ones.

firstly i was using here for releases only then i created my own list then i started going manga hunting. and now i am addicted to forums. so all 4 of them can be my answer.

First for the release updates (my vote), then the forums, then the database, then the lists...I think...it's been a while. 😃

The release updates and database draw people in. The lists, filters, user reviews and forums convince them to register and stay.

I come here to keep track of what I've read what I am reading, to see updates, to find new things to read from your database.

I used to try and keep my lists on anime news network. But I ran into the problem of there being soo many mangas they didn't have in their database.

I really like this site, it's the best database I've found of what manga scanlations exist on the net.

Plenty of reasons.
The forums.
The database.
The release updates.
The lists.

All to make our manga reading lives so much better. ♥

hehehe actually i was looking the pic of an anime through Google.. and i found it here, u know the pics of the mangas.... i dont remember what exactly happend after that... but right when i started reading manga i opened an account here.. how could i ever remember the names of all the mangas xD

I had always went to bakaupdates for anime episode release updates. One day I clicked on the link over here and saw this site worked almost the same way for manga. I started coming here regularly after that. I didn't join until I found out about filters (not lists).
