This week's poll was written by me and is pretty self explanatory

Previous Poll Results:
Question: Opinion on a sequel when the original is still ongoing? (Sequel is usually set in the far future from original)
Choices:
Great idea! New story but same world, style, or formula - votes: 221 (6.9%)
Sounds pretty confusing for a reader of both... - votes: 1006 (31.4%)
No opinion - votes: 312 (9.7%)
Horrible idea. Too much potential for spoilers. Just finish the original first! - votes: 1662 (51.9%)

If you wanted examples, some people mentioned Nana to Kaoru, Gundam, and Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san
This week's poll was suggested by jacob66. I can't actually think of an actual example of this right now, but what do you think of an ongoing series (meaning it's not finished yet) that has a sequel coming out already? I presume the sequel takes place in the far future, because that's pretty weird if it wasn't. But if you know of any examples of this, comment below!

Looks like people appreciate comedy. But keep in mind that we've done 2 polls in the past about scanlator April Fools' jokes and fake releases, and the majority of people either hate them, find them annoying, or straight up ignore them.
This week's poll was suggested by jacob66. Pretty self-explanatory.

Question: When you see other people recommending series to each other (such as the I'm Looking For... forum) but you're not original questioner, do you read the series that are suggested?
Choices:
Nah, I'll only pay attention if I'm the one that asked for a recommendation - votes: 126 (4.8%)
Sometimes or seldom, as they don't always suit my tastes - votes: 1815 (69.3%)
All the time! So many hidden jewels! - votes: 679 (25.9%)

Not a very popular poll. I think many people misunderstood my mention of the "I'm Looking For..." forum as part of the question rather than just an example of the question.
The scenario spelled out by our member vivant is specific and is as follows. You're the 3rd party observer, and you see other people giving series recommendations to each other, such as in our I'm Looking For... forum (in case you didn't know that existed). Do you ever end up reading those series that are recommended, even though you weren't the original person asking for a suggestion? Any hidden gems that you've discovered that you'd like to share?

Never seen them - votes: 69 (2.1%)

Wow, the majority of you do look at them at least sometimes!
This week's poll was suggested by Nekomikoto. It's kind of wordy, but oh well. The poll is specifically about words from the scanlators that are customized on each release, excluding the normal credits and recruitment page. The example Nekomikoto gave is for the scanlations of Haritoge Kuremi to Ou no Ie by Boredom Society Scanlations.

jacob66 suggested this fun little poll about immortality. What do you think? Blessing or curse? Would you take the gift?

One of our most even polls in a while!
In a few days is the infamous April Fools' Day (April 1st). At MU, we [color=red]WILL NOT[/color] tolerate any fake/joke releases being reported/announced to us (on any day, not just April Fools). If we, by accident, allow a fake release to get through, please report the mistake to us (either via a [sitelink=submit.html?act=add_change]Change Request[/sitelink] form, through the forum, post a comment in this news post, send me a private message, or you can email me at lambchopsil[at]mangaupdates[dot]com if you are not a registered member here).
As you have been warned against doing it, if we discover a person still attempting to post a joke release here, that person will be dealt with. Severe action will be taken upon that scanlation group.
Thank you for considering our request to remain as accurate as possible for our members.
This week's poll is kind of odd. It was suggested by our member 8-3. Apparently there exist some scanlations that share identical translations of the anime's fansub. 8-3 never mentioned which series it was though, as I want to see it for myself. Regardless, what are your thoughts about that?

For most people, you just need to meet a minimum threshold of animation quality
This week's poll was suggested by residentgrigo. Basically, how much do you care about the animation quality?
