Gamo Hiroshi is not his real name. But he once announced that his nickname is “Tecchan / Tetchan / Tetsu-chan”.

His pen name is taken from the town where he grew up, Gamokotobuki in Koshigaya, Saitama Prefecture.

Dubbed one of the worst if not the worst drawer in the history of Weekly Shonen Jump. "I haven't done a good job with the painting, but love is important for manga" he said.

Specifically knew 70’s & 80’s Johnny’s boybands.

Frequently teased by KITA Yasuaki on Makuhari and on author’s comments section in Shonen Jump.

NISHI Yoshiyuki was once his assistant.

Rumored to actually be OHBA Tsugumi.
Many conspiracy theorists have mentioned the hidden pun in OHBA Tsugumi as "Oo batsu gumi." It is possible that Gamou retired from drawing because of limited talent and works now as a writer for other artists.
