Now if we could match that with how many people only saw the first movie... And I decided not to do the favorite Pokemon game poll for a couple of reasons. One is that it seems it'll just have a backlash with a bunch of people never playing a Pokemon game before. Another reason is because it'd be more fair to have X and Y as options, as initial review impressions say it's quite good. Comes out October 12 for the Nintendo 3DS.

Ya, I agree it sucks if you can barely tell the characters apart. There's a school of thought that a character should be recognizable just by their silhouette, which applies to any visual medium.

I have just applied some updates to modernize the back-end MangaUpdates code. If you find errors, strange behavior or functionality that doesn't appear to work like it did before, please report it here or in the Bugs forum.
The only new feature I added was the addition of the "year" parameter in the "What's New" section of the site. I'm sad to say this was mostly a back-end update, and no fresh new eye candy.

In my opinion, editing and scan quality has gotten much better. Translations in general have gotten better. However, proofreading remains a problem for many groups.
There has been some confusion recently over our policies for webcomics. In the series description, we ARE allowing a URL to the original webcomic (such as a link to a specific page on Naver). An example of this can be seen on Tower of God.
And as a reminder, we do not allow fan-made webcomics to be added as series to MangaUpdates. A fan-made series is something you try to publish yourself, without the aid of places like Naver or Daum. In general, we do not allow anything fan-made. All approved series must be backed by reputable publishers, including all OEL.
