Sena Kobayakawa AKA Eyeshield 21- Main character,a wimpy, small, and weak willed individual. But since he has always been running away from bullies, he made out to be the greatest and fastest running back of the league. Since he is playing under the name Eyeshield 21, he must now become the lies that was said about the real eyesield 21 and show his worth to his team

Yoichi Hiruma- team captain, a sadist and a brilliant stratagist. He was the first to notice Sena's ability as a runningback. Also plays as the Quarterback of the team and the backbone of the entire Deimon Devilbats. On several occasions when Hiruma is not up to or is not there, the team quickly loses hope. Call all the plays and is the creater of the american football team

Ryokan Kurita-lineman, is a gentle giant, the most morals of the team. respects his opponents and holds high regards to most of his compeditors.the strongest player on the team. he basically makes the line on both sides of the ball.

Taro Raimon AKA Monta- often refered to as the monkey of the team, plays wide receiver of the team, and Hiruma's primary target. Known to love bananas and is Sena's best friend. He used to be on the baseball team and was great at catching, He never played a baseball game for the team due to the fact that ALL he could do was catch. So he decided to join the football team.

The HA HA Brothers- the original bullies to Sena. Originally joined the team because they were blackmailed by Hiruma but stayed on to show they are worth something and that they deserve to be there.

Manabu Yukimitsu- the bench warmer, made his debut against the stongest team in Kantou. has no real skill, is not fast, cant really catch, but is smart. He is the only reciever who can do play options with Hiruma.

Daikichi Komusubi- plays line with Kurita. Kurita's apprentice. strong but short.Speaks with very few words. Rivels are th Ha Ha Brothers.

Tetsuo Ishimaru- originally plays for the track team, but joined football so he could recruit more people for track. not really an important player.

Natsuhiko Taki- the tight end of the team and the team idiot. He was found by Sena when he Taki was trying to play for the NFL in america, even though he never played football a day in his life. Has a sister. Decent reciever and blocker. Very flexible
