I've been long interested with the story when I see the first volume cover: a girl (not that old), holding a baby child (I didn't realise he's not that young to be "baby" after reading haha)
The first chapter was interesting, and the art is stunning. It has the same European ambience as the manga Emma or Arte. What surprise me more is, the more I read the story, it isn't as simple as "sailing to find an important someone" plot. It is totally more than that! It brings up detailed plot about the ships, lifestyle in a voyage on the ship, and on top of all, engineering.
Despite a little bit change in art (for me, it becomes a bit.... disproportional, if I may say, and a little bit stiff expression) but I can feel the "swift movement" in every panels. As if the characters are really moving here and there, along with the tension.
I love the personalities and character development. There's only a few more chapters to go, I can't wait to see the ending!
As an extra, I also love the way the author/mangaka put so much effort to think of the extra pages which involve an after-story, or some past or thoughts of the character. It was a fun read! and amazing art! That's why I love the plot because it's so refreshing 🙂
