Description
Shiori was once a guitarist in a light music club in high school but her first live performance was dashed when her brother ran away from home with a lot of debt, to become a musician in Tokyo. A decade later, Shiori is now a high school teacher, leading a boring, uneventful life and paying off the debt, till she runs into the ghost of none other than famous guitarist Jimi Hendrix. The story of a 27-year-old woman on her way to becoming a music legend begins here.

The worst thing about this manga is, however....
The traslations stop after chapter 29. Truly upsetting. I don't know where to find the raws for chapters starting at 30, so even if I was to try to do an amateur (like, TOTALLY amateur) translation, I can't do it....
sad. sad. time to actually learn japanese and see if I can buy the volumes somehow.... ?

Try reading it while listening to legend guitars like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, SRV, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits. So much feeling. I'm dead.
If this got license in English, I'd love to buy it

I actually literally cried when I read the scene 3 old friends band together again after tens of years. Heartbreaking. And I was listening to Dire Straits & Eric Clapton's Sultan of Swings. Don't know why tears burst out.

The premise of this manga seemed so ridiculous so I had to check it out, I always find it interesting when japanese media takes on western anything. I am so glad I found this series because it is so fun, when something good happens its big dramatic and you really feel SO happy for the main character, she is a peach who you really want to see become a huge star. its funny and wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone (tho maybe not big time jimi hendrix fans, he is fine in the manga but I don't know enough about him to say if this manga portrays him well haha)
