I really didn't like the first chapter. As others have said the author tried to make the main famale lead very different but executed it poorly. Throughout the series she belittled her love interest and acted like the adult when in fact she was a kid as well. She the "adult" she acted poorly, not being honest with her feelings, playing around with his emotions (if I were in a relationship with her I would constantly be doubting myself and my value in the relationship). The male lead was cuteish... but I didn't like how he called her a B...tch. He did act like a child and way too much like dude you're in high school act like it. The first chapter was soooo oversexualized I got turned off. Like? Why did the author have to add a leacherous teacher? It seemed like everyone wanted her. I finished the series to give it a fair shot but I didn't like it.
Hmmm... tags are misleading

I got recommended this, but as much as I felt that their personalities were the type that I liked, the scenes show that the girl, despite having a dominant personality, she prefers a submissive role in her relationship. For example, in one of the scenes,
BUT
It IS a shoujo manga, and most shoujo readers are pretty submissive, so the author DOES have to please them.
Anyway,
-Some scenes didn't make sense
-Shoujo art style doesn't really appeal to me

they kiss. But the girl lets him take control (be the dominant one) in the kiss
Also, Spoiler (mouse over to view)
In other scenes, she's the one getting blindfolded and carried. The guy doesn't even ask for permission to carry her
During these scenes, the girl blushes and turns... sub mode. BUT

Very cruel female lead

I feel like the teasing gets way outta hand. I have zero confidence that she won't date other guys and then be like "just a prank bro". The relationship seems so one-sided. I wish that the male lead would cheat on her just to knock her down a peg.
thanks

It really is a change from those clumsy female lead and cold male leads... In my opinion the girl needs to grow some balls (albeit not literally) and this girl here is strong, independent, and awesome. It's finally time for the girl to get some spot light. People who complain about how the story isn't about love but physical attraction, you can say that for every shoujo with a handsome male lead. Te main reason why the female lead has interest in the guy is because he's cool or he's handsome or he's smart. It's usually not personality because these guys have no personality whatsoever, so thank you for this new, fresher piece. I like the gender reversal. Also, for the comment that says she's a cougar, idk if that person has actually read the manga because she prefers guys who are older than her, but only breaks this sterotype when she finds someone special. Do check your facts. @Utsukushii Yume

The female had me thinking that by the time she is 30-40, she will be a cougar. Only seeking innocent young boys whom she can guide.

Yuri was pushing him for sex I was like could you slow down a bit? I don't know, how about dating for a week? Or how about 24 hours at least?
Yuri doesn't even know what he likes about her. But like I said, I'm old fashioned and I believe that there is a certain order to these things so I would say try it you may like it.... Last updated on August 1st, 2014, 3:56am

Lol at the "uke in a shoujo manga" comment. I suppose if he were an uke, he'd be the "rambunctious wild type" who's also a tsundere.
I found him strangely cute and I like how the more experienced female lead would never lose her calm and just tease him constantly all the way till the end.
In contrast to the usual inexperienced male / experienced female pairing, the guy is actually capable of making a move on the girl. Though, since he's a tsundere, he somehow manages to mess it up, lol.
Nice and refreshing. (The guy's parting lines were actually really surprising, especially if you read a lot of shoujo/josei. You'll see what I mean.)
PS. The kisses were surprisingly hot/smutty for a non-smut work. Would totally like to see more of that. xD

LOL. actually i liked the novelty of this. there needs to be more shy tsundere guys in shoujo manga. im SO sick of the rapey controlling bastards that is the norm in a lot of series.
also as a fujioshi this guy totally hits all of my buttons @___@ *nosebleed*
definitely had a lot of weaknesses at the end. like, really? did we need a random misunderstanding for the sake of it being standard shoujo? not all shoujo needs instances of drama-rama. i would have been perfectly fine with the female teasing and flirting with the male lead forever 8D i wish the guy had a little more confidence to be more honest with his feelings instead of causing a stupid shoujo misunderstanding.

WHOAH, this also qualifies, i guess, as one of the ultra rare shoujos that actually references male sexual desire. it was used in a comedic way, BUT STILL. more of this please, shoujo manga! don't be shy ;D

The description is misleading. The guy seems to have some interest in the girl, while the girl thinks that the guys around her are childlish, and doesn't really care what they do. She is always calm and has a "I know what is happening and what should be done" actitude. She acts like she has lots of experience, calmly saying whatever she wants.
I don´t get why they would like each other. The boy wants the girl to look at him not like a child, and the female lead seems to just go with his flow, as if she know why the guy do or say what he does (like she is watching over a 5 year child). The female MC seems to just be playing around with him, like she really not like him and is just enjoying his interest in her. It just doesn't feel like she likes him.
The manga seems to lack some transition panels here and there

specialy before the watermelon sequence. By the way, what the guy was doing is a japanese custom usually done in the beach.

This oneshot has a strong, cool female lead--very refreshing. It is quite short, which is a shame, but that doesn't mean that the story itself isnt satisfying. It is a light hearted and good read. I enjoyed it very much. The mc is my favorite part. The art is also really good.
