is my biggest problem with this manga right now. It's actually stopping me from reading the whole thing bc it's just too annoying when the ink looks weak and gray and the picture is so small bc each shot is a spread instead of one page.

Nothing outstanding, nothing even great, but enjoyable nonetheless!

A collection of very sweet and tender boys' love stories. Everyone is sincere and (mostly) innocent and everyone falls adorably in love. If you're in the mood for a bit of well-paced fluffiness with expressive and solid art work, pick this title up. It's especially nice if you only have a few minutes and want to catch a cute story while you're waiting.

Had at least 2 quirky stories, though the rest are a little flat.

Derevex unfortunately didn't try endeavoring through the next few chapters, where there IS improvement. At least, 3 out of the 6 stories have a character in the main couple with a particularly quirky personality. (Still...while the first chapter's main character has an almost intriguingly egotistical disposition, I'd have to agree with Derevex that the resolution of the story fell flat, partially for its rushed ending, and partially for the two characters' relationship and thoughts not being explored thoroughly enough.)

Personally, I found chapters with the kindergarten teachers and the "naive love triangle" the most adorkable. The highlight of the kindergarten teachers one-shot has got to be Keita-sensei's Yukimura of Sengoku Basara-esque apologies and his sunny personality in general, while the "naive love triangle" has a hilarious, awkward and sweet guy that DOESN'T exude cookie-cutter BL archetype (i.e. being icy cold, broody, holier-than-thou, etc.) --
Spoiler (highlight to view)
with the classmate that he and another (broodier) character "vie" for being a genuinely cheerful guy (think Yamamoto from KHR)
, which sets up for a rather unusual combo in the realm of BL pairings.

The three other one-shots I thought had more archetypal characters, relationships and situations, though obviously they might click more with some people than others (others, such as my persnickety self). A few stories later on in the volume did seem to have a sex scene unnecessarily tacked on, and all in all, the majority of them stopped at a point where I hadn't quite come to care for the characters, excepting the previously mentioned kindergarten teachers and at least two of the silly love triangle guys.

A let down.

The art was really beautiful, so I thought I'd give this a try. I was fairly disappointed. The first few pages seemed o-kay, but as it got later into the chapter, it became like other yaoi mangas. Almost like a switch, the angst and drama was gone, everything was resolved. Judging by the content, I'm guessing the next chapters will be the same half-assed plot and climaxes, followed by attempted fluff and comedy.
