I happened upon this gem for the ninja category, but stayed for the heartwarming story of a girl who falls in love with her superior at the bookstore she's always wanted to work at. The male lead (reminds me of Tomoe from Kamisama Kiss in some ways) always has these well-placed lines that tug at my heartstrings. He orders the main girl around but not in an overbearing way at all - he later shows sides of him that care about her well-being and happiness in the end. The main thing that made this series get a 9 in my book (in addition to the great art and nice plot) is how oddly relatable the female lead is, at least emotionally. She finds herself falling for this guy at work and can't seem to hate him but still becomes angry at him when appropriate. She doesn't feel the need to confess right away or get needlessly jealous. She works hard at her job but isn't perfect at everything. She loves manga but isn't portrayed as a stay-home full-on otaku. Maybe I'm building her up too much but I simply like her. Only three chapters scanned so far but there's a decent amount of story so it's worth reading despite its ongoing status. I can't wait for more!
