Unexpectedly Turned So Good...!!!

I thought the Seme was going to be forever cliche stereotype rich spoiled bored bully violent. He WAS at the beginning, at least the level of elementary school bully; the pig tail pulling with Smut. But he end up more easy going, comforting, nicer, gentler, and likable.
If the usual Seme bully the Uke they Love is where the Uke who goes with flow, Sudou end up being the one who goes with the flows of their relationship in a way.
Even the mangaka admit that Sudou was first mischievous but end up being Good guy with how the story goes.
It was Truly Refreshing and Cute! I'm Loving it so much it makes me smile!!!

and sweet. So cute that you'd be punching the walls to feel manly again. It seems like any other cliche yaoi story but I like the art and the fluffiness throughout the story. I actually like the siblings, they are so cute! Although I don't think so I'll re-read, but it's good if you need some sort of sweetness after reading some bitter stuff.

it's about the smut

the plot was super thin, just a vehicle for the characters to get into each other's pants and get the smut started. it's your typical super pushy and possessive but sweet seme x socially awkward and wimpy uke, which gets really old really fast, but at least the smut was decent.

don't expect a compelling story. in fact, ignore it. if you want some decent, hot smut, this is for you.

I admit the art is suberb and it all looks nice, fluffy and cute but... guys, Sudou was harrasing him all the time. He doesn't listen to him at all, doesn't know his own feelings and just pushes everything on Kishi. I don't get it how in the mangaka mind she could think that anyone in Kishi's shoes would actually miss and be ok with a person that does to him the things Sudou does. When you don't like to be touched by people, being jerked off by a guy you don't know and you're clearly not interested in is not going to make you feel more comfortable, it's going to disgust the crap out of you. Sudou actions and the assumption that anybody would be fine with it is really disturbing and in normal world I would call Sudou a raipist.

The title of this manga is so misleading....
I was initially skeptical into reading this, whats with a title like Sick.
Is it angsty and twisted beyond repair that it made you SICKconfused
Glad that I've read it.. it sooo FREAKING ADORABLE!!!!

Sudou is good looking, cool and comes from a rich family.
Everything is smooth sailing for him except for the fact that he cannot forget his first love.
Kishi (who quite resembles the mysterious girl who turned him down when he was a child) was the subject of his constant teasing.
At times Sudou may appear childish but i think he is only awkward in expressing his feelings to the one he loves.

While Kishi has always been a quiet kid and as the years passed he became more withdrawn. So much that just talking to people sends him into a panic.

Both are polar opposites in personality but was able to come terms with their feelings.
I like how Kishi was able to come out of his shell and was able to show various expressions.
Before he was unfeeling and cold to people but was able to change when he started his relationship with Sudou.

I also like how Sudou is close and caring with Kishi's siblings.
Ah he is the perfect husband!!!!!!

Wish there was mooooore!!!
One volume ain't enough!!!!!!!!

Loved this manga, short simple, sweet and cute. The only part that bothered me was how open ended the ending was. And since I don't see any sequel I don't like how the artist and author didn't really try to make an ending.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!11~~ this was so cute, so hot, so sweet, so romantic omfg ;-; 11/10 recommend forever
A simple, uncomplicated romance?? without them even thinking too hard and discussing their relationship early on in the beginning, and just letting whatever happens, happen? And then later, it's the person who was the object of the affection, who didn't have feelings at first, developing feelings and expressing his feelings in words, while the other returns the feelings and emotions in expressions and actions of love asldjfasldjf this was too good, too perfect

Substanceless and has no chemistry.
It is cute, though, and the art and expressions are good.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I can't believe I'm giving this any more than a 2 even though the sleezebag top asked the other guy "Can I rape you?" like what the hell--maybe the Japanese he used was less harsh... idk
He straight up never apologizes to the other guy for his past behaviour, but are we still just gonna pretend like it's okay? Please no.
Still jerking him off under the kotatsu when there's a fucking kid around? Stop. The bully top can be interesting sometimes, but he's a creep.

The rating is mainly for the art, which is very easy on the eye. The characters are very attractive.

What starts off as a pretty cute attempt at romance by Sudou devolves into something borderline creepy.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Sudou, contrary to his popular/cool guy look, leaves candy in Kishi's labcoat pocket and his beakers, trips him, and essentially tries to catch Kishi's attention like a first grader who hasn't realized he might actually be into the girl he likes. After figuring out he might be attracted to Kishi, Sudou asks a half-asleep Kishi, "Can I rape you?", passes it off as a joke, then proceeds to take off Kishi's shirt and jack them both off. Blech. Talk about a complete 180. Kishi, in typical BL fashion, then ponders why he doesn't hate Sudou and realizes he might actually like him. Alright then.

Later in another sex scene, Sudou tells him "You don't mean that" when Kishi protests. Ugh. All in all there are just so many tired and pretty terrible BL tropes like the "Are you trying to seduce me? Are you even aware of yourself?" and the "You haven't really resisted me since the start."

Honestly, if all the iffy shit was cut and all the cute moments were left untouched then this would be a pretty cute but nondescript story. As it is though, the only thing it really has going for it is good art and a dubious romance.
