Best "Going All Out" Manga in a Long Time!
Rating: 10.0 / 10.0

It reminds me of nothing so much as "I Am a Hero". First, there's the same lavish expense of artistic labor and general creativity expended in setting the scene at the very beginning. Only here that scene-setting is done fast, with fantastic, almost cinematic, long shots of urban landscapes and depictions of luxurious interiors, rather than with a slow buildup as in "Hero". Second, there's also, as the story goes on, an expert ability to envision and lay out a comprehensive apocalyptic plot. Finally, there's an initially wimpy hero who rises to the awful occasion—but slowly, so you can believe in the change. Finally, there's a lot of murderous action, depicted in a fully realistic manner and setting, so that you don't get bored with silly show-offey fake-fighting tropes.

I have no doubt this will be made into a movie some day, and it'll be a great one. Meanwhile, I can't stop reading it!

PS: If you don't like your initially-wimpy heros as initially weird as in "I Am a Hero", this one is just a normal young guy who happened to get his first good job at a hotel.
