Just ok

I'm with MightyMaeve on this one. There were elements here that were quite good, but in the end it felt sort of flat. I love stories which actually deal with gay characters and the emotions which come with that(who would have thought that this would be so rare in a genre made up entirely of men/boys hooking up and falling in love?) so for me, this started off on a good foot. It sort of remained in decent territory until around the second volume, at which point it fell apart. I also did not enjoy the other two chapters about the other couple. I didn't really see any reason why those two would be stuck on each other, let alone have any chance to develop actual feelings for one another as they barely had any interactions at all. Ah well. Overall, not a total loss, but certainly nothing I'd recommend.

Because it had some awesome elements, it's failure is more strong.

Hmm. Like Stimulating Relationship, I couldn't stop reading, but was largely disappointed in most scenes. IT just seemed so surface and unexplored. The tension between the teacher and student was awesome. The secondary character in the shape of the other student with the completely different perspective on relationships was fascinating. The story had great potential - again, it was intriguing. If only all these features were brought together with more depth and impact...

Despite the misleading subject title I actually loved this story so much. It was so cute. I always love June Manga., They never disappoint.

Ichiru was so adorable, just like a puppy. And he was so shy and he blushed ever panel. hearts!
Saeki was the best in my opinion. He was so unique. The way he talked and his interests oh wonderful.
Unusually characters + Yaoi = awesome story

Not the more original...

Young teacher, the subject of school-girl fantasy... except here it's actually "school-boy". So yeah, not the most original plot ever, you have the usual naive and "pure-hearted" uke who falls in love at first sight with the strong and decisive seme but this story's got a bit more to it.

The uke is quite the willful and obstinate kind, even if it's because he's driven by "the power of love", he's the one doing the chasing and that makes the charm of this story. Especially when, on the other hand, the seme is cold, even cruel (but still in a realistic aspect).

It was interesting to see their "relationship" slowly building, you really had the "slice of life" feel for a moment. Too bad the author felt the need to use over-used tricks to finally get them together.

That and the terrible, terrible, art are what keep this manga in the "okayish" zone.

Here's my summary if anyone's interested:

Ichiru have fallen in love, big time. For the first time in his life, this will be his first time experincing the pleasure and pain of unrequited. Gathering his strenght and courage, Ichiru refuse to give up. Yes, he is that deep in love! But is it even possible? Afterall, falling in love with your Chemistry teacher isn't all fun and games...
