Just didn't quite click with me.

The main character keeps using stuff from her past life and basically refuses to utilize any of the things from the xianxia world she's in so I lost interest.

As with alot of wuxia/xianxia novels, the MC is overpowered yes. I see a number of reviews commenting on how it's too fast paced as well, but I think it's alright for me. Despite the holes around the plot, i enjoyed reading the novel.. I also liked that it's a strong female MC (I don't see many of these in the wuxia category - it's usually male), and the romance between the MC and the male lead.

Funny thing to say about a fantasy novel, but the MC supposedly uses scientific knowledge from her previous life and applies to the new world. Unfortunately the writer must of dozed off in class because every time she mentions anything related to science to try and sound sophisticated, it just ends up sounding stupid because its flat out wrong.

Also the cold stares and "killing intent" of the MC gets to ridiculous levels because the god knows the writer uses it on nearly every single line. I'm surprised the MC still had to fight because I'm sure she could of stared everyone to death.

If you're wondering why I'm talking a lot of about the MC and not the story, that's because there's very little substance to the story other than a vehicle for the MC to start her staring contests. The thin plot, the other characters, they're just a railroad so that the MC can get scarier and scarier stares. Character driven stories can be good, but in this case the MC is just too unlikable, too arrogant and too much of a scumbag.

Anyway, reading this novel has done too much damage to my seventh rib, I cannot continue any longer.

A heads up is the extremely short chapters. When you try to scroll down you become aware that you need to click next chapter to read more rofl. The first story arc that ends at chapter 67 is worth reading but not worth continuing after that. The first arc has a beginning, middle and an end. The second arc is 150 chapters in and only scratching the beginning...

The story starts out well because characters actually behave like they live in the society with laws (unlike similar reincarnation stories). However, it soon becomes boring. Other reviewers have pointed out that it's because the pacing is too fast. I think it's also because the main character is too powerful. No one is a match for her and every single crisis is solved by killing. Without any threat, there's no suspense in the story and no sense of attachment to the main character.

this story is plot move way to fast and it seem like it skip alot of detail thing. i dont know the reason i think it the story not the translator. if you like OP character and alot OMG moment then this is for you, and if you like story that make sense and explain what ,how,when the character become who or how strong they become then just skip this one, cause it will drive you crazy trying guess what the heck happen .( you better off reading the manga )

Like other's explanation before me, the story is about an ex-assassin who die and suddenly wake up in another body (and another time, more like time slip to the past). Her new body owner was died because of her causin behaviour and she was neglected by the rest of her family. Because of this event, it leads to she become another Murong Li Yue, who will avange on all of people who mistreat Murong Li Yue in the past. Fate make her get attantion from Third Prince of her country and he want to marry her. At first she refused by going to assassinate the prince while he is bathing, but the prince can stand equal or he was more stronger than she is (The prince got inner energy and she haven't, don't know if it's the result of the owner is already dead or not but she got killing intent that can match the inner energy). The story so far that I read only about the life of this couple, start from they show their power, intimidate their enemies until annihilate them. Murong Li Yue have her motto "If people don't offend me, I won't offend them! If people offend me, I'll erase them completely!"
Talking about the art, I think it's not bad, but sometimes the lines seems different. Well, the creator have their own think but as advice please don't change to much, that's not good because it can make the reader have too much questions. Overall, i'm waiting this story to its completion (its Manhwa, i hope my country gonna publish this manhwa).

I like OP characters and the story is okay, but so far (36 chapters) I feel that a goal is missing. I have no idea on where this story is leading to. From the title I assume that most of it will take place in the palace, perhaps a war can take place...who knows.

Also, the side characters that get introduced so far doesn't seem to play a really important role except to boost the strength image of the MC.

I'll probably revise as the story progresses.

The mc is too mary sue to my liking but I still try to see if the story will be interesting.

But... It just became something too fast. Everything is progressing too fast without explaining much. How? and Why? in detailed.

MC just die and go into another body. This body is super weak and people give a bully to the owner.
And suddenly mc just got into that body recall the owner's memory. Take it only a month to make the body stronger and go take revenge on the bully.

Just don't skip how can she train her body within a month. It's only just make me wonder how can she do it!!! Even though it's Wuxia, at least tell me the training method just don't give me the reason of because of her previous life she is the best assassin.

And then I feel like every character is too arrogant. No one I want to keep an eye on.
And yes.... I drop...

But if you like op characters, you probably can like this then. It's just not for me.
