amazing novel makes you laugh tons, the mc is just a really cool guy and is major player.
don't let the bad reviews put you off they haven't even finished 3rd grade english so it's no wonder they can't see how good this novel is

I have tried reading this novel more than 10 time, and each time i quit after reading 2~3 chapter.The MC is really good at annoying me.
He treat killing other as hunting for experience.Is he crazy?Even if he only kill bad guy, i find that killing for that reason is just too insane.
He is too much of a narcissist and dont know when to stop his mouth from annoying people.
He is shameless to the point of hateful since he take pleasure in mocking and deceiving people even though they treat him well.
All his good points that are revealed later are so forced just to make him look not like a complete 3rd rate villain.
I prefer the manhua version: the MC is a little dense when it come to love but he has proper character development: a past that create his base character,his combat experience that come from years of brawling,his way of showing the child that instead of throwing himself to death for vengeance, protect the family member that he still has and then sometime willing to go out of his way to kill to protect his family.It may be too shounen-like but i kind of like it more.
Well this novel is mainly for Chinese reader and this kind of MC suits their taste so it may be wrong of me to blame the author. Well i miss the time when i was so engrossed with Jin Yong's Novel

The MC does start off as a selfish and loathsome protag. I dropped the series several times and eventually came back to read a few chapters now and then. He eventually redeems himself by turning into a considerate human. He's willing to sacrifice for his family and friends. The story becomes better as he levels up. There's more action and humor, but there are still some arcs and chapters that are plain meh. The harem is a bit overblown and he has too many convenient cliches. Also there's a lot of references to Chinese classics, video games, and anime that you either know it or don't, e.g., Oolong's notorious dbz wish. You have to be a semi otaku to have a more enjoyable read. The novel doesn't really pick up until the Heaven arc. As for my favorite character, it would be the dog when he gets chapter time.

What i hate is when MC said almost every 5 chapters "push down, push down, push down..", author acts really like a perverted cherry boy. It isn't funny and it's really useless, MC said push down this girl here, this girl there.. but he will never really push down them.. really pathetic.

Don't be fooled by these reviews. This novel its fucking golden. Incredibly funny, its the first time I have laughed so much while reading one of these novels. The action its decent, same with the overall story. Its as good as most xianxias out there.The summoning beasts thing is unique to this novel(for me atleast). The real entertainment comes from the character interactions and the main character's personality. If you are looking for an enjoyable read that keeps you hooked to see what crazy shit happens next, then look no further.

But in a good way. The beginning parts were great, the character interactions were funny as hell, you could almost call this a gag novel. It reminded me of the crazy and funny humour that characters got up to in Binbougami ga!

Unfortunately about mid way (around c60ish) the translation quality seem to fall off. You have scenes that make no sense, many misspellings and very annoying name changes without any notice. The humour is not quite there either like in first 20 chapters. Looks the primary translator brought in some helpers but they were not really up to scratch. But this series has supposedly over 1000 chapters so hopefully this will improve in the future.

Read up to ch 77.

After a rocky beginning the novel finds a good pace very quickly. Even when mixing different superpowers it still manages to not encumber itself with to much details. The MC´s insistence to deceive and hide his true skills and background opens up some hilarious dialogue, that alone makes it worth reading.

I managed to endure this painful reading until ch.35 reason being the Mc is a piece of trash.

I dont see anything good because the Mc is just plain Op trash whose world only is himself and no one else... he cant even compare to other wuxia Mc's where they actually care about their important friends/family. He is just an asshole who thinks with the D.

On top of that if not for how everything was handed to him on a silverplate he wouldnt have done anything because lacked any motivation to do so...

I realy question the people who read this story about whats so good about it.

Definitely better than the usual wixia crap that's going around but still not decent read.
I am starting to think that if the Chinese authors don't make a homicide maniac with a big harem, the END OF THE UNIVERSE will take place. LLS is somewhat better but it is still promoting the idea that the stronger the MC is, the cooler he is and the fact allow him to do whatever he wants... no matter how degrading and disgusting.

Update: It became better. The MC is still a scum but the dialogues are hilarious. Definitely worth the time even only for some funny remarks from time to time LOL

I've read up to the latest translated chapter (chapter 46) but I still not sure where this story is heading. In my opinion, the MC is too OP (and too fast). After reading 46 chapter, I still feel as if the story still in doesn't move from square 1. I mean

this is more a gag story. It definitely got potential, just that I haven't see it yet.
