Description

The Omegaverse is inherently an extremely exploitative place. That’s why when I do read works set in the Omega verse I am already expecting the worse. And, until now there have only been three manga set in the Omegaverse which have completely blown me away (one is Hebi no Seikatsu). They are the testament to the power of imagination; how beauty can be made possible within the extremely abusive place thus giving me hope that it’s not inherently exploitative after all. The only thing that I like about this is the art work, even if it’s a bit messy at times. The narration is confusing and all over the place.
The story had potential to become a thrilling piece but its execution is way too messy and amateur to become anything near that. It's just all over the place really, from the convoluted writing to the awkward pacing to the rigid characters all of whom I did not care for one bit. The whole cast is just uninteresting, and none ultimately managed to make readers feel invested in them, but especially so for the supporting characters. Same thing with the art as well; way too confusing and messy that sometimes it's quite impossible to make of what's even happening. Also, I hate the hammy and over the top facial expressions in an attempt to portray 'drama'. You could say that I was not impressed with this one.
