Dropped reading.

Honestly, the first chapter made me drop this. Why?

Actually, I like those little player characters, that tease the female counterpart or sometimes even get on their nerves to the max, but - This time, it was just too much.

The female lead did her best to give me a hard time to understand her actions and why she even likes this kind of guy, especially after seeing how he treats her during the first encounters. So, to sum it up - For now, I just don't get the characters and whole the idea behind this ... Dropped.

Gosh after reading the first story, I felt like I lost some brain cells!! Why do shoujo mangaka's have to create such weak, idiotic girl characters?? Is it too much work to make strong characters??
Gosh the chick in the first story made me mad, are there any girls really like that out there? The guy is a well known player who constantly have to remind her that she's treading on thin ice every time she annoys him. Wow such a romantic guy! *face palm*
Anyway, long story short, one of THE worst mangas I've ever read, and I know the mangaka can do better than this, cause her other work are so good.

Typically average shoujo manga. But. I gave it a 4, cause even among all these typically typical mangas this one is slightly different.

Usually, there's one superb guy who although sometimes is assassination-worthy, always has some Reason. Big shocking clichéd Reason. The dude in this one doesn't have one. It's kinda unbelievable. ^^'
Emi is still dumb like in any other shoujo manga heroine. [Oh, forgive me, all the honorable minority exceptions!]
Plot isn't worth mentioning.

Second story is bit better, but still. It's not something you can't live without.

Looks like I'm in minority here, but I read all of Ayu Watanabe’s completely scanlated works, and this one I liked the most. Emi is stupid, but not in a masochistic way like most of the shojo heroines, but in a sweet-naive way.
Still, looks like people here have trouble believing a love story like this.
Well, let me tell a story - a not very pretty&chubby girl made the coolest and best-looking guy in college like her. I know it for sure, cos that girl was ME, a few years ago.
How? Because I didn't give up! I chased him for three years, and got him, eventually. And then I was the one who dumped HIM. He still writes and calls me, years later.
So, Emi, you go, girl!
There is a saying which I love: "If a fool is persistent in foolishness, he becomes wise".

Normally I really hate persistent girls and girls in general but I liked Emi. Unlike other shoujo manga, Emi is not especially pretty, but she isn't exactly ugly, which makes her likable. She is not one of those useless heroines who are completely useless and has no good qualities save for good looks. Another thing I like about her is that she is (like) a stalker(I like those types, the stalker love interest). I like that she chases after the guy she likes rather than cry and wait for the guy to chase her down and make things right(that happens a lot in shoujo manga). Her stupidity and simple-mindedness is refreshing and entertaining.
I find the stories funny and touching at times.

Worst manga ever

Wow, this manga tops every bad manga I've ever read. And seriously, I'm not a harsh critic actually. I agree with everyone who wrote that the main character is stupid, dumb, naive and again - stuuuuupid!!
Spoiler (highlight to view)
She sleeps with a guy who is OBVIOUSLY a player and male whore or something. o.0
Not only that, she goes all emo and wants to kill herself because of her stupidity. Hah, and then the jerk comes and rescues her... lol.

I just read it because I had nothing better to do on that day and because of the art. So, for people who don't care about the story but the art - recommandable. Otherwise not.
Still props to the scanlation group for the good work, though.

5 for me because the girl is typical, typical typical. She's supposed to be different but come on! She already slept with him in the first chapter!
I did not give the manga 1/10 because at least I managed to stick to the end even though the story was terrible. I personally hated all characters. No pride for any of them, just self-degradation ugh as a fellow 16 year old girl it pisses me off how the girls have nothing more important to do in the manga but chase boys. Grrrrr it's an insult to me and I couldn't help but feel grateful that not all mangas depicted the shoujo heroine like this.

The main story was extremely disappointing. As others have said, the heroine is extremely stupid, and the boy is a jerk. The ending was terribly half-hearted. I sort of went, "Oh, is that it?"

I think I liked the side story (at least more than the main), but it wasn't particularly memorable.
