For teens, maybe...

Feels a remake of the 1st saga in pretty much all aspects presented so far and the manhua again takes the childish art and approach to the story, the Douluo Dalu world is not a fairy-tale, it's a grim place, I would definitely read the novels instead if they weren't so long and badly written (translated at least), tried to read the 1st one but I ended giving up on the finishing line. The guy below says it's targeted at 13 years old, that would make sense, kids in early teens might really like this.

In any case, so far with the repetition of the first saga formula, minus the 7 monsters (that were the one thing I really liked of that saga) and another perfect MC (boring as hell), unfortunately, while the MC of Douluo Dalu I had the excuse of being a transmigrated soul for his maturity this MC, Wulian, has no such background.

Also, just from the prologue, I'm already rooting for the spirits, humans in that world nearly eradicated a sentient species for their own gain, even after the invention of artificial rings they seam to still be hunting and killing them. Honestly, they deserve being taken revenge upon by the spirits, well, I don't know where the story will go with the premise so it might be interesting story-wise as long as it's not the classic defeat the dragon boss formula.

This manga was quiet good

This is an amazing manga and I loved it when I could not wait, so I decided to read the LN. The LN said much better details and it was not made for young 13 year olds so it made more sense. When this scorpion interpreted Grand Master and Erlong in the LN, they wanted to have sex, which explained why Erlong was so angry, but in the manga I was lost because they just sat around side by side. It made no sense that Erlong would be angry because he was not going anywhere anyway

Another point is the chapter where Tang San Xiao Wunand confessed all this spring love. There was nothing wrong with it, even if they changed little details like the classroom, but what pissed me off was that it came to the grandfather who came when Tang Beat Tai was long. In the LN Tang Beat Tai long then the father and Tang came a rank 50 and then came the grandfather and all that stuff happened. In the LN, he showed Tang San Badass by showing him a rank 50 and there was a little joke about how the father would come when the son lost, but in the manga he just jumped to the grandfather and skipped everything else

Like I said, the douluo dalu manga is amazing, funny and cool, but after reading the LN, I suggest that anyone reading the manga reads the LN because the manga is hasty and changing as well as omitting details and LN the original version is. Imagine, the book is always more detailed, you just have to imagine all the scenes and the film is always fast in comparison, but he gives you the scenes, so you do not have to imagine that. Read the LN and the manga and you'll fall in love with this series
