Random plot

The only troupe you can find in this manga is about an immortal who never ages. The story revolves around his journey through time and his interaction with the ever changing world around him, so the plot can feel random at times. It can either be bitter sweet, laidback, action filled, or it can even turn dark suddenly without any warning.

It's one of the few manga about death and incarnation done right out there.

This is probably one of my all time favorite manga. It's has such a moving story and is completely original. I am constantly impressed by the flow of the story. It started off with a little bit of repetitiveness in the plot however it quickly sheds that and the story starts to truly kick off. I can't wait until the anime comes out, I have such high hopes for it.

Not for everyone

This story is... different. It follows 0 troupes. Just like the other review said, it is existential and tragic. It does not have a normal plot with hero, villain and side characters. So, if you look for fulfillement, I do not think this manga is for you.

Now, for what I think of it, this story honestly made me cry several time. I also find it in a way unpredictable and mysterious. I think it follows the life of a mysterious being, and the growth of this being is beautiful.

Whenver I finish a chapter, I feel like I had been in a whole different world.
Man I really am bad with words. I just... find it sublime.

Lost Me

51 chapters in and we still don't know why anything happens in this story. There's a god-like creator that occasionally phases into being, talks to the MC, and we still don't know the plot. This wouldn't be be a death sentence on it's own, but there aren't any likeable characters remaining for me to actually care.

Really good and really sad. Fantasy action tragedy. Damn you, Ooima. God damn you.

This manga can pull some really strong emotions out of you, and it's a good story to boot. Wrote a review on it trying to pitch it to the hesitant. Only criticism is that the premise might make the regularly inevitable tragedy less impactful.

Even though not many chapters have been out yet, you can see the pattern of this manga: immortal being meets an innocent, kind-hearted person with hopes and dreams for the future, that person dies in an emotional setting, the immortal being takes that person's form and continues its journey. I'm not saying that the story isn't interesting and engaging, I just think that the mangaka uses the tragic element way too much and in the same way every time. It's still early on in the story, but you can't help but notice a repetitive theme in every arc so far.

Very original

I believe that every person who likes unique story will enjoy it. Yes, this manga keeps tragic events which surely will make you burn in tears, but I think that emotional manga is a something what every fan should look for. The characters are very likable, the art is very pretty (it's a weekly manga, so backgrounds are not always perfect) and the action goes fast. No boring events, no dull chapters. You will enjoy every of them. However, if you dislike sad stories, then don't read it, don't give poor rates saying "oh, I didn't like it because it made me cry". If you hate drama/tragedy genres, leave it.

Great story, Piece of advice.

I don't know if the author would see this, but Great story, just a piece of advice, It will be a BIG mistake if you create a new owner, I'm not saying This time that owner would live or die, that doesn't matter, it's how the story progressed, I'd feel betrayed if we started to forget those two owners, I don't want more, i want a story about the immortal progressing by itself following the principles the previous owners left the alien (Be Optimistic and follow your dreams)

This is so... weird

I didn't know what to rate this. The art is wonderful and the writing is good, but it's just upsetting. But I suppose that's the point. I hate sad stories, so that's probably why I gave it a low rating. I know it sounds petty, but I feel like I was lied to. The description led me to believe this was going to be a mystery/adventure story about a boy and an immortal wolf in the tundra. Nope. Which makes me sad, because that premise sounded really cool. This manga isn't bad, just not my thing. I had sad stories and character deaths, but if you can get over that you'll probably like this.
