It's like, madoka magica but worse-- because it's just so sad. Of course, it doesn't mean it's bad. I'm just saying it's not happy go lucky magical girl story.
Be prepared for violence, death, and messed up people. The manga ends up being a good commentary on the meaning of justice. The nature of the story makes it heavy stuff, but tells an engaging story. Interesting idea and good execution.

I love the subversion of the magical girl genre. Magical girls are all well and good, but omg the twist that they're actually spoiled, arrogant bitches is amazing. Randomly getting magical powers wouldn't suddenly make you a good person after all.
