The art may be a little intimidating, but ti it none the less beautiful.
The story isn't really captivating, but the characters are well developed.
Although, this story hasn't gone very far yet, I still enjoyed the opening of this story.
I have to say though, what pulled my interest into it was the art, but I really do enjoy Kim Mi Jung's work.

What a strange story....But I really love all the characters (minus Ian's "family" bleghh) <3
I hope to see further story development :]

It's a unique manga with a very interesting plot and characters.I can't wait for the next release!!The drama is not too much also the characters' development is exciting and touching,the art is amazingly beautiful.A bittersweet story about love,values and self-esteem.A must read!!!!!

When I read that discription, I imagined something completely different.
I think this is a big spoiler, so...


What can I say, not a really good read..
The artwork is pretty nice, but not so fantastic either..
The idea I had in mind about this story was blown away by some other, strange story, that I did not like..
The characters were.. Really doll like, with little emotions.
It had its nice moments, but other than that- nothing special that you should waste too much tome on..

Loved it! Some might not like it because of it's dark and 'mature' themes, but I thought everything was well conveyed, and well balanced! The art was awesome, very moving at times >u< The pace was good, nothing seemed particularly rushed, though by the end, you kind of notice Suzette grows really quickly.

I had a different storyline in mind when I first stumbled on the description, and thought she was a real doll or something more 'fantasy' like. Turns out she's a human, which made it more realistic.

This manga is very similar to Hana to Akuma, except darker.

When I first read the description, I thought the girl would be a doll, but it was actually a human. I thought it would have some fantasy pretty much.

But it's just a historical drama with great atmosphere. However, it is not that innocent, I warn you.
So far is good.

The story starts off mysteriously, and it is intriguing to me.
Wonderful artwork, each page and each corner is full of
stunning detail and eye candy. Gorgeous.

I was a bit surprised towards the later chapters of volume
one. It slightly reminds me of Chobits, but the stories
are much different.

A very satisfying read for art lovers and slightly darker reads

This manga was really dark. Some people will think it's a bit too much and probably won't be able to take it but some may find it unique and beautiful. I thought it was in the middle. It was alright but not something i would read a second time.



It was okay... but a bit too much for me.

I didnt like it, I got to a certain point and just didnt want to read it anymore. It wasnt that great. maybe the whole age difference was what bothered me?

Just don't expect historical accuracies; it is insane how historically inaccurate this manga is. But still, I liked it. It was fun, the main male character was very likeable and sympathetic. He wasn't some brash "I'm hot, rich and I'm going to bone you!" kinda guy, but quiet and clever.

I just wish the ending hadn't been so rushed. That's why I gave this a 7 not an 8.
