If they going to add infidelity at least they should be able to provide a different conclusion, be single is also a better option than staying with someone who didn't have the balls to end a broken relationship, even if he got permission from his wife, he loved someone else, she knew but of course in this kind of mangas a woman never has pride and fears to be alone 😒

I thought this was a good manga. There were points were it went off the rail and I wish it stuck to that simple, slice of life tone rather than opting for drama at several points (not classic drama, but some stuff where I am like...is this what normal people would ACTUALLY do? And do we need this, even if it is?) However, I think the themes that are explored here are interesting and well-done -- particularly people thinking they're more mature than base human emotions.

The low score is because of the cheating, probably, but I knocked off a few points because it did drag with some of the plot points and one thing made me roll my eyes because it was kind of the cherry on top of the 'really....did we need this?' sundae.

If you're against stories about adultery and dysfunctional relationships on principle, obviously you shouldn't read or comment on this. But if you give it a chance you'll find a story about a broken romance and thoughtful explorations of how outside pressures, failures in communication, and mismatched ideas of love harmed an otherwise loving couple with a light at the end of the tunnel for the possibility of reconciliation. It's not a story about who's at fault or who does what wrong (because both characters do things to hurt one another, knowingly or unknowingly), but two people who desperately want to communicate their feelings to each other but lack the language to do so.

Don't expect this story to overly dramatize or romanticize the actions of its characters, cause there's almost zero titillation. Instead expect a mature look at different types of affairs, why they happen, and how they hurt people in different ways. It's a story with a lot of frustration and justified anger, but it always feels human.
